Brazil has been the world’s largest producer of coffee for the last 150 years producing about a third of all coffee in the world.

Brazilian coffee is different from other countries in terms of flavors and farms. Farms are in high altitudes in flat areas with many coffee varieties.

We decided to cooperate with farms mainly from the Minas Gerais state, where there is the greatest number of coffee farms, where we can find coffees for a wide variety of customers and their requirements, from so-called “regional lots” down to “micro lots”.

The 6 Brazilian states with the most extensive acreage for coffee production are Minas Gerais (1.22 million hectares); Espírito Santo (433,000 hectares); São Paulo (216,000 hectares); Bahia (171,000 hectares); Rondônia (95,000 hectares) and Paraná (49,000 hectares).

Origin of coffee

We focus on personal and direct contact with all of our partners, we regularly travel to Brazil to visit farms (pictures on Farms page), and we nurture relationships with coffee farmers on a daily basis.

We have a team in Brazil who source the coffees based on the customer requirements and target price. Our Brazilian team regularly visits farms and warehouses, checks quality, performs cuppings, and maintains a strong connection with the farmers.

We continuously study, and we have acquired a lot of knowledge about growing, harvesting, processing, and storing coffee. We focus on coffee quality, origin traceability, and transparency while improving the quality of our services consistently.
