Alo\u00edzio and Guilherme produce coffee varietals of Red Acai\u00e1, Mundo Novo, Red, and Yellow Catua\u00ed. The Yellow Catua\u00ed is the coffee we call Flor de Jasmin. It has a very complex profile due to the high altitude where it grows: 1.460 meters, and all the special care Aloizio and his partner Guilherme give to their farm.<\/p>\n
When we met these friendly farmers in July 2021, they told us, to our surprise, that we purchased their coffee at its first birth. It was planted in 2017 and in 2020 it was harvested for the first time and sent to us. The photos are precise of the plantation of Flor de Jasmin \u2013 Yellow Catua\u00ed. As you can see in the photos, trees look very healthy, beautiful, and well cared for in their second crop.<\/p>\n
We got their whole coffee plantation production of 2021. And in this second birth of this plantation results were even better than the first one. S\u00edtio Santo Ant\u00f4nio was not affected by the frosts of 2021, due to the altitude, as frosts usually burn trees at very low levels. Their region is called \u201cMantiqueira de Minas\u201d which is officially recognized in Brazil as a region of high-quality coffees.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
